“The nervous system is the foundation of how we move, feel, connect, think, and participate in life.
Treatment begins by supporting the body, allowing the nervous system to become more organized and resilient, creating the conditions for meaningful and lasting change.
Treatment Approach
We believe that many challenges with attention, anxiety, emotional regulation, executive functioning, sensory processing, chronic stress, motor coordination, and participation begin within the nervous system.
Rather than focusing solely on changing behaviors, teaching compensatory strategies, or talking through challenges, we take a bottom-up approach—supporting the brain by first supporting the body.
A bottom-up approach recognizes that when the nervous system is overwhelmed, stuck in patterns of protection, or struggling to process sensory information, it becomes much harder to access higher-level brain functions such as attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, social engagement, learning, and problem-solving. Rather than asking the brain to work harder, we first help the nervous system become more organized and regulated, creating a stronger foundation for meaningful and lasting change.
Our treatment approach integrates neuroscience, sensory integration, somatic interventions, developmental movement, reflex integration, and nervous system rehabilitation to improve communication between the brain and body. By addressing the underlying foundations of regulation, posture, movement, body awareness, and sensory processing, we help create the conditions for improved participation in everyday life.
When the nervous system becomes more organized and resilient, many individuals experience improvements in attention, emotional regulation, executive functioning, motor coordination, social engagement, learning, and overall participation at home, school, work, and within their communities.
-
Sensory Integration to improve the brain's ability to process and organize sensory information.
-
Neurodevelopmental movement approaches to build foundational postural control, breathing coordination, coordination, and efficient movement patterns.
-
MNRI® (Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration) to address retained reflexes that may continue to influence regulation, posture, movement, and emotional responses.
-
Somatic and body-based interventions that increase awareness of body sensations and support nervous system regulation.
-
Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) to support regulation, social engagement, auditory processing, and autonomic nervous system function.
-
Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM), when appropriate, to complement rehabilitation, pain, and support tissue healing and nervous system function.

-
Polyvagal-informed interventions to help understand and support autonomic nervous system states.
-
Visual-vestibular and ocular motor rehabilitation to improve visual processing, balance, and functional performance.
-
Executive functioning supports grounded in nervous system regulation rather than relying on willpower alone.
Our Process
"Therapy isn't about changing who you are. It's about helping your nervous system better support the life you want to live."
Evaluation
Every journey begins with a thorough evaluation to understand you as a whole person. We explore your goals, daily challenges, sensory processing, nervous system regulation, movement patterns, medical history, and lifestyle.
Depending on your needs, your evaluation may include:
Sensory processing assessment
Clinical observations
Ocular motor and visual-vestibular screening
Primitive reflex assessment
Balance, posture, and movement assessment
Motor planning and coordination
Executive functioning
Interoceptive awareness
Functional participation in daily life
Our goal is to understand not only what is difficult, but why.
Collaboration
Following your evaluation, we'll review the findings together and discuss how your nervous system, sensory processing, movement patterns, and daily experiences are interconnected.
Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects your goals, strengths, and priorities.
Bottom-Up Nervous System Rehabilitation
Treatment sessions are individualized and designed around your unique nervous system.
Rather than relying solely on cognitive strategies, we use body-based interventions to support regulation and improve communication between the brain and body.
Sessions may include:
Gentle body-based techniques and therapeutic touch
MNRI® Reflex Integration Therapeutic movement and developmental patterns
Sensory Integration
Somatic and body-based interventions
Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
Polyvagal-informed interventions
Vestibular and visual interventions
Education to help you better understand your body's responses
There is no "one-size-fits-all" protocol. We continually assess how your nervous system responds and adapt treatment accordingly
Integrate Into Daily Life
Our goal is for the skills developed during therapy to extend beyond the clinic and become part of your everyday life.
Together, we'll explore practical ways to apply what you're learning at home, work, school, and in your community. As your nervous system becomes more organized and adaptable, you'll build greater confidence navigating daily challenges and participating in the activities that matter most to you.
Rather than relying solely on coping strategies, we focus on creating meaningful, lasting changes that support greater independence, resilience, and quality of life.
